Ilana Golant is the executive vice president at the Manhattan Institute where she oversees all operational teams, including marketing, communications, and development; next generation networks such as the Adam Smith Society and the Young Leaders Circle; and strategic initiatives such as New York City: Reborn and the Policing and Public Safety Initiative which were recently launched under her leadership.

Prior to joining the Manhattan Institute, she was the chief operating officer and managing director at Palisades Media Ventures, a subsidiary of WPP. Earlier, she served as senior director for strategy and business development at NBCUniversal News Group and as editorial director for strategic content and news partnerships at CNBC.  She also was an attorney at Mayer Brown LLP and at the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

She received a J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she was the editor in chief of the Journal of Law & Business, and a B.A. in Political Science and History from Columbia University.
